Rumors are floating around the Internet that Final Fantasy XIII, which doesn’t even have an actual release date to begin with, will be delayed until 2010. These rumors, while entirely possible, don’t seem to have a great deal behind them, though. The basis for the stories seems to be that Traders Web, a Japanese stock web site, believes it will happen in order allow the userbase to increase. Certainly plausible, but hardly something to get riled up about.

Of course, it would help if Square Enix would give us some rough time frame as to when this game is actually coming out. 2008? 2009? 2010? April 2049? It’ll come out eventually, like Street Fighter III did.
